cracked the code

dress: oh my love shoes: river island clutch: zara (sale) necklaces: h&m, urban outfitters & dorothy perkins lipstick: mac crosswires This is what I wore out on my birthday. I went for a simple black smock & some killer heels (a perfect dupe for my much coveted JC Scully's, but I'm too poor for them, sob) paired with an oversized leather clutch bag and a statement lip.  I love the smock shape of the dress, obviously, and it's made of a lovely viscose fabric that hangs perfectly. Although I'm really annoyed as it's been sewn weirdly, so the shoulder seam has split after one wear which is irritating. I was after a really big, real leather clutch for ages but couldn't find what I was looking for so when I found this in Zara is was like someone was guiding me to it! It's faulty as it's missing a really tacky looking handle, but as it was £60 reduced to £20 I didn't mind so much. Although cheeky Zara don't do faulty discounts... Hmph. I've also had my hair done, it's quite a lot blonder now. I did ask to keep my natural roots but she's lightened those too... Whatever.
